SENATOR PEARCE moved to calendar CSHB 77(FIN)-JOINT ARMED SERVICES                                                              
COMMITTEE.  SENATOR ELLIS objected and asked about the bill's                                                                   
fiscal impact.  CHAIRMAN KELLY explained CSHB 77(FIN) collapses the                                                             
existing committee structure, therefore no duplication of costs                                                                 
will occur.  CSHB 77(FIN) provides that the new committee will be                                                               
funded by the Legislative Council.  SENATOR ELLIS removed his                                                                   
objection, therefore the motion to calendar CSHB 77(FIN) carried.
